今天要介紹的動畫名言來自初代鋼彈(ガンダム)的主角─阿姆羅‧雷(アムロ・レイ/Amuro Ray)!
「親父にもぶたれたことないのに！」
機動戰士鋼彈第九話「飛翔吧！鋼彈」中，阿姆羅拒絕駕駛鋼彈出擊的態度惹惱了上尉布萊德(ブライト/Bright)，布萊德憤而揍了阿姆羅兩拳之後，阿姆羅吐出了流傳永世的名言：
This famous quote is taken from the ninth episode (“Fly! Gundam”) of the very first Gundam series. In this episode, annoyed by Amuro’s unwillingness to pilot the RX-78-2 Gundam, Bright slapped Amuro in the face twice, and there goes one of the most well-known quotes from the entire series:
「親父(オヤジ)にもぶたれたことないのに！」
不負責任翻譯：
就連我爸都沒打過我了！
I haven’t even been hit by my dad before!

這句名言的翻法也是有許多爭議，在日文原文中，阿姆羅用的是”被動”的型態：
打（ぶ）つ→ 打（ぶ）たれる
照字面上的翻法，中文大概會像：我都沒被我爸打過了！
There has been some controversy over the translation for this quote. The quote is originally said in the passive voice in Japanese: I haven’t even been hit by my dad!
但是，大多數的翻法是偏好將主詞換成「我爸」，普遍官方翻法如下：
中文：連我爸都沒打過我！
However, most translators prefer using active forms and change the subject of the sentence from “I (Amuro)” to “my father (Amuro’s dad).” It goes as follows: “Even my father never hit me!”

我覺得其實意思不會差到哪裡去，只是語氣問題，大多數的中文翻譯好像較偏好主動語態，如果今天阿姆羅的母語是中文的話，用主動型態或許聽起來會比較自然，不知朋友們比較喜歡哪一種呢？
In my opinion, there is not much of a difference when it comes to the meaning itself, but mostly a problem of the expression or the tone. It’s just that in this case, using active forms seems more natural in English? If Amuro were a native English speaker, it would probably seem more natural for him to say the words in active forms. What do you think?

アムロ 「やめてくださいよ。そんなにガンダムを動かしたいんなら、あなた自身がやればいいんですよ」
阿姆羅：請不要這樣，如果你那麼希望鋼彈啟動的話，那您自己去駕駛不就好了！
Amuro: Please don’t do this. If you want to activate Gundam so badly, why don’t’ you do it yourself?
ブライト 「なに？できればやっている。貴様に言われるまでもなくな」
布萊德：你說什麼？如果能做到的話，不用你說我早就去做了！
Bright: What! I would if I could! I don’t need you to remind me of it!
アムロ 「僕だってできるからやってるんじゃないですよ」
阿姆羅：我也不是因為做得到才去做的。
Amuro: I didn’t do it because I could.

アムロ 「あっ」「な、殴ったね」
阿姆羅：啊！你…打了我。
Amuro: Ah!....You…hit me.

Bright: What’s wrong with me hitting you? It’s so easy for you to feel better just because you have something to wine about!
アムロ 「僕がそんなに安っぽい人間ですか？」
阿姆羅：我…難道是那麼廉價的人嗎？
Amuro: Am I that petty??

阿姆羅：竟然打了我第二下！就連我爸都沒有打過我了！
Amuro: That’s twice!! Even my dad has never hit me like that before!

ブライト 「それが甘ったれなんだ。殴られもせずに一人前になった奴がどこにいるものか」
布萊德：那是他太寵你了。沒被揍過就能成大器的人是不存在的！
Bright: It’s just because you’re spoiled. Nobody can become a better self without going through hardship!
アムロ 「もうやらないからな。誰が二度とガンダムなんかに乗ってやるものか…」
阿姆羅：我再也不做這鬼差事了！誰要再次駕駛那鬼鋼彈啊！
Amuro: I’m NOT going to do this, you heard me! Only fools would pilot that god damn Gundam again!
